The War in Yemen - one of the worst conflicts in modern history

The war in Yemen has been raging since 2015 and has turned into one of the worst humanitarian disasters in recent history. As always with war, those who are hit the hardest are the civilians. And amongst the civilians, the most vulnerable are the children. How many people who have lost their lives is not known, but the people who die from starvation and illness far outweighs the civilians killed in combat. Last year, it was estimated that more than 130 children died per day due to disease and starvation.

For the survivors of this disastrous and unnecessary war, the way back to normality is long and hard. One of the most important things to increase the standards of a nation is education, one of the things to suffer the most during such conflicts such as this one. Because of this we have teamed up with Q8-horology to give aid to support children being able to go to school. 10% of all our sales up until the 1st of March will to to “The International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies” (IFRC) and to their efforts in Yemen.

The 38mm collection

We set out to create a new, versitile and vintage inspired case that we could make use of on several models, cue our 38mm collection.
The case is a slim 38mm diameter affair, measuring only 10mm from the caseback to the top of the domed crystal. Featuring universally loved 20mm lugh with and coming in at 45mm drilled lug to drilled lug, it’s a light, handsome case that fits many wrist sizes.

We’ve made some vastly different watches utilizing this lovely little case, from the WW1 inspired aptly named “Trenchhunter” field watch, the dressy yet robust deck watch “Oceantimer” to the decidedly elegant and party-ready “Sector 38”.

So, no matter if you’re going for a trek across the land, to the office or dressing up for that ballroom occation, the 38mm collection has something for you.

Straps galore

Treat your Skytoucher to a brand new strap to keep in securely anchored on your wrist. Choose between fabric, leather or Milanese mesh bracelet. You have so many strappin’ choices and oh so little time…

Just kidding, time and money is exactly what you have a-plenty. You handsome devil, you.

Straps, for any occation

We’ve gone to quite some lengths to get straps that not only go with the watches we make, but that are also of great quality without being villains towards mother nature. Vegetable tanned leather is not only better for the environment, it actually holds up better and ages more gracefully than it’s chemical brethren.

You can be sure you’ll find not only good looking and well fitting leather straps, but also fabric straps and mesh bracelets. So without wasting precious time, head over to the straps and bracelets section.

The watches we sell have been assembled by us, right here in Sweden. We do this not to save money (quite the opposite), but because we like to have that level of control of our products, we have full insight into the QC and not to mention it’s damn good fun!

So grab yourself a cup of tea, a glass of wine or a good whiskey, kick back and allow yourself to indulge in the wonderful world of great human feats, exploration or foolishness. Trust us, it’s worth the read.
