ÉTAPE CLASSIC

The Étape was created to be a classic take on the unisex dress watch, a timepiece that works equally well for women as well as men who want a classically styled smaller watch. We made it rectangular in order to not only break our own mold, but to make something that we felt was a little bolder on the wrist in these modern times.

Designed with both muted colors as well as more playful ones, this timepiece can easily be worn to an upscale cocktail party on one day, and a low key garden party the next. We have many exciting straps to choose from as well as a custom made metal bracelet in a “flat beads of rice style”. This makes the wrist presence of the watch become more pronounced and is perfect for those that want a little more bling or just prefer metal bracelets.

Skytrain Telemeter Chronograph

The tarmac is vibrant in the desert heat, the temperature hitting more than 37 degrees celcius. There is a faint smell of sand, spices and kerosene in the air. The huge warbird seems to be brooding where she sits in front of the hangars, the dull olive drab paint soaking up the sun. As the two fourteen cylinder supercharged radial engines whine, as not wanting to wake up from their slumber, you look down at your watch. The chronograh, named after the airplane you are about to board, gleaming in the desert sun. The two engines wake up with almost syncronised explosions of sound and brutality, roaring with more than 2500 combined horsepowers, they then settle in and start a steady growl.

The “Skytrain Telemeter Chronograph” takes it’s inspiration from machines as glorious as it’s namesake, airplanes and watches of the 1950’s. A polished fluted bezel sorrounds the green or brown degradé dial, adorned with oversized subdials, lumed hands and a handy telemeter scale framing it all. The case is 39x46mm, true to it’s vintage predecessors, and making it wear comfortably on most wrists. Featuring a “VK64 mecha quartz”, sans running seconds, you get the best of both worlds. Accuracy and reliability of quartz, and the charm and mechanical element of cogs and levers.

Pulsation Chronograph

Our first foray into the wonderful world of chronographs, allow us to introduce the 39mm Pulsometer equipped bicompax chronograph.

This watch draws inspiration from one of the golden eras for chronographs, the late 1920’s through to the 1950’s. This was a time when watchmakers were indulging into new scales, new complications and new ways of securing the watches to the wrists.

Our bicompax chronograph feature a “pulsations scale” on the dial, a nifty feature that was highly regarded by physicians and other medical professionals when it debuted. This touch, along with other little details give this watch the feeling of being NOS, but with a decidedly modern movement inside.

Featuring a “VK64 mecha quartz”, sans running seconds, you get the best of both worlds. Accuracy and reliability of quartz, and the charm and mechanical element of cogs and levers.

This fully polished 39mm beauty sits just as nice around your wrist either on the original vegetable tanned, handmade Italian leather strap as it does on the (upcoming) delicate beads of rice metal bracelet. Pick one up today and enjoy the design language and fine details of vintage, but with the reliability and build of today.
